No fee is required for manuscripts submission and review.
Article Publication Charge (APC)
Starting from 2020, the journal switched to an Open Access model, therefore
the authors are required to pay an Article Publication Charge (APC), only in case the manuscript is accepted for publication.
The Article Publication Charge is currently set to 300 EUR (plus
VAT, if due).
The APC partially covers the publication cost of the journal incurred by SIEA.
The publisher will get in touch with the corresponding author following the manuscript acceptance and payment is required before publication.
APC waivers
SIEA members who are in good standing with the payment of the membership fee are exempted from payment of the APC.
the right to benefit from the fee waiver will be verified by the publisher through the SIEA secretariat.
Issues published until 2019
Until 2019, there were no publication fees and no charges to authors for publication.
Published articles are accessible through annual subscription to the journal or can be downloaded individually through the publisher's
website, with payment based on a pay-per-view model.
Authors are not entitled to receive a (printed or digital) complimentary copy of their own article. In case of questions about the article reproduction policy, the author can ask the
publisher, writing to megazzini@francoangeli.it.
